I found Jesus at an early age in the sweat & tear stained altar of a little Pentecostal church in rural North Carolina. I responded God’s call to preach when I was 17 years old.
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic (universal) Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
I was first credentialed in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) in 2000. My first ministry was at Hazelwood COG in Waynesville, NC as the Youth pastor in 2001. Daniel has a powerful voice. When he speaks others can't help but listen. He challenges others to think critically about the scriptures and to become an active prophetic voice in our world.
Daniel is a gifted and insightful biblical preacher. His love for the biblical text and the people of God is a wonderful combination of gift and calling.
Daniel Rushing’s ministry style is authentic, intellectual, contextual, relevant, anointed and inspiring! His ministry reminds me of the latter part of Micah 6:8 "do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly"!
He has an exceptional gift for communicating the gospel to a diversity of audiences. His passion to reach and teach the body of Christ is unmistakable in his delivery style. Being clearly articulate, Daniel preaches in a fashion that extends a fresh perspective for how to live a full and active faith in Christ.
